 Trail/Pleasure

Berry College in Rome, GA

Left: A favorite 'Kodak' shot is Possum Trot - the school/church where Martha Berry first started a school for the mountain children of the area. Possum Trot eventually became the well-respected Berry College located on nearly 50 square miles of land at the foot of the Appalachian Mountains. Join us for an incredible trek through the trails and forests of Berry College!

Upper right: Two grand ladies show off!

Lower right: a relaxed, but alert Paso takes his rider Mike across a narrow wooden bridge

Left to right -
Delicadeza - 17 yr old Col/Cu mare,
Candida AMO - 14 yr old pure Puerto Rican mare,
Destello del Paso Via - 3 yr old Col. gelding 6 weeks under saddle,
Empresario del Paso Via - 4 yr old Col. gelding 2 1/2 months under saddle

 Family/Kids

An enjoyable afternoon ride

Left: La Chica Insolente and Celeste on a ride. We'd like to commend Celeste for wearing her helmet - always a good safety consideration - even on the most docile mounts!

Upper right: 13 yr old novice rider exercises a 16 year old broodmare and her 2 month old filly. (Rider is 6'1" :-)

Lower right : What better place for an afternoon snooze than the back of your favorite Paso?

Notice La Chica is bitless - very common for many Pasos who are so responsive that a bit is simply not necessary.

 Competitive/Endurance

Pasos are making inroads and believers in the sport of endurance racing

Left: Lindsay on Leo at Goethe

Leo de Vez ( 1991 CTR champ ) 20 year old stallion in his first endurance LD25 mile race with a placement of 30th with over sixty entries

Right: Four year old Falcon de Vez on his first endurance ride

Pasos are beginning to make their mark in endurance racing. Many have quick recoveries and give their riders an easier ride, thereby making it easier on themselves, also. As riders and handlers learn more, they and their Pasos are quickly moving up in the rankings.

 Time/Games

At an all-breed fun show

Left: Penny and La Venus take 3rd out of 6 in the poles in their first try and did it in style and comfort. Penny says she never had to leave the largo gait!

Center: 16 yr old Megan races Coral daughter, Nueva "Eva" Epoca de MiLe, in modified 'poles'

Upper right: Another picture as Penny and La Venus enter the pole pattern

Lower right: Megan and 'Eva' run barrels

What many Pasos lack in overall size, they often make up for in agility, attitude, and just plain heart! Pasos everywhere are turning heads as they outrun, outmaneuver and outplace many of the traditional horse breeds in time and games events.

Team Penning/Sorting  Pictures are on the way!

 Paso Humor

You have to love a horse who so patiently tolerates the antics and manifestations of the owner's humor! :-)

Upper right: NEVER get between a Paso and her apple!

Notice the typical headgear showing once again the ease with which Pasos are managed.

Lower right: Monty drinks from the hose. Actually, he may be trying to hold it himself. Now if he could just turn the water on and off himself!

After a Minnesota flood that threatened the barn, it only seemed appropriate for Rosie and her extremely patient Paso to have some post-flood fun!

 Promoting Pasos

Pasos on parade!

Parade of Lights - what a great way to show off our Pasos to 'outsiders' who might someday join us! :-)
